![]() Good luck to all that enter and a huge congrats to those who win. Regardless of winning or not, I will be getting this awesome looking game mainly due to the highly upgraded graphics and the awesome arena FPS game style that I had so much fun with in the days gone by. I so terribly miss the LAN party days, and Nexuiz would in some ways kind of bring them "good ole days" back for me. He recently passed away at an early age of 47 and was the first person back in the late 80's that I ever computer gamed with, and was the first person that I ever went to LAN parties with. Now lets fast forward to this awesome give away! I have been eyeballing Nexuiz for awhile now! Soooooo reminds me of the "good ole days" of LAN parties and online gaming with my best friend in the whole world Mark. Only played that a hand full of times and didn't like it at all. For me it seemed to be too much micro management with the bases and what not. UT3.F'n crap!!!īy the time UT2004 was released I only attended a few LAN parties while playing that. Then came along UT2004.Not bad, however it was not quite as good as UT2003 in my opinion. Played Quake 3 Arena in LAN parties for a bit as well. Didn't really get very good notoriety, but one must look at "Quake Live." It is still running, and is pretty much Quake 3 Arena. Then there was Quake 3 Arena! LOLOLOL, man what a hoot that game was/is! Another epic FPS. LOL, if you have never played UT2003 with friends and/or family you really really missed an epic period of computer gaming! Then I found UT2003! Man, I did some serious LAN'ING with that sucker! Probably went to 50 or so LAN parties during UT2003's hey days. Original UT was one of my favorite FPS games. Main reason I would love this game is much like everyone that has entered, it is very close to being like the UT games. I really hope the trend spreads and more of these pop up in the future (I'm sure the wallets of manofthem and I could use a little reprieve )įirst, INSTG8R your frigging awesome man!!!! Very cool gesture on offering up free keys for this. I started giveaways to ignite the Pay it Forward mentality here on TPU and I really am impressed with how members have stepped up and followed my lead. It's successor is Xonotic, but last version of Nexuiz Classic, 2.5.2, released in 2009, can be still downloaded from the official website. Nexuiz (2 additional copies care of INSTG8R and manofthem): fullinfusion, burtram, & stinger608 Illfonic’s Nexuiz was released for XBLA in February 2012, and Steam May 3rd 2012. Tomb Raider & the Guardian of the Light: Sasqui Payday The Heist (2): bbmarley and mlee49īraid, Lone Survivor, and SuperMeatBoy: Techtu Limbo, Amnesia, Psychonauts & S&S: AlienIsGOD A couple others I've played recently are Minecraft and Xonotic, which also run without any problems.Battlefield Bad Company 2: lilhasselhofferīejeweled (Apple App Store): nick_1992, Easy Rhino, and enaherĭungeon Defenders: AlienIsGOD (by default)ĭeus Ex Human Revolution: Completely Bonkers Lately one game I've been playing is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, and that runs fine on Windows 11. It is genuinely my favorite game right nowĪnd I would love to play split screen with some friends.Īlthough I don't often play E-Sports, I like other games (such as 3D, flight sim, etc.). ![]() It already supports multiple instances, so all it needs is to be able to reroute inputs and such. Create an easy to remember Custom Server address from over 30 domains instantly. It would be great if we could get a game handler for the free open source arena shooter Xonotic. The polish behind that project is insane for something FOSS and the hours I put into it are something to be embarrassed about. One the mobile side there is Shattered Pixel Dungeon, also to be found on F-Droid. Xonotic is a shooter which combines UT and Quake mechanics and has dozen of unique features. There are a few smaller community-driven ones like Xonotic or Warfork. Have you ever arrived too late to a free-to-play game that ended up dying? ![]()
